MUD Clients
These are some of the various clients that you can use to log on to
Legends of Excalibur (among other MU*s). But let's face it, LoE is the
best so you need not log onto any others :). We included what we think is
a good choice for different operating systems.
Offline Room Builder
Offline Room Builder (ORB) is a program in which you can build areas for SMAUG based muds offline.
ORB may be downloaded from here.
Get Orb.ini from here. Rember to make a backup of your own if you wish to return the settings later.
***IMPORTANT*** ORB is not a complete substitute for online building. It is somewhat limited in that - among other differences - you cannot add item resets to mobiles and the spell list in ORB is not the same as on LOE. Unfortunately, these problems cannot be modified since they are hardcoded into the ORB program. Also, when using ORB, select to use version 1.4 of the source.
