-Selecting Hometown: Here in Legends of Excalibur we have a few hometowns to select from, each has a role play meaning dealing with your alignment. No matter what your alignment is, you can choose whichever hometown you want, but some are geared more towards certain alignments. The hometowns are listed below:

Farlands Empire: Ruled by a Bellicose Emperor and tailored towards evil exploits.
The Kingdom of Britannica: Ruled by a Benevolent King, the wielder of Excalibur, and tailored towards completing good deeds.
Isle of Dhanloria: An Elven kingdom that is maintained by a council consisting of elves and dwarves, lead by a Human with aspirations on eliminating war and maintaining peace.
Underdark: Rebellious land with no leader. Most members desire and strive under the most chaotic of Anarchy.
No Hometown: Will create you with no hometown, your rank will be "Exile" until you decide later to join a hometown (this is assuming you will want to be part of a hometown later, you are not forced to do so at any time).

-Rolling stats: There are a few ways of doing so, and you may select any way you feel most comfortable doing. The methods used are as follows:

Roll 2d5+8 for each stat
Roll 3d6+2 for each stat
Modify all stats from a base of 8, rolling 5d8
This method will allow you to start with a base of "8" in each category, and then will roll 5d8 to determine how many points you have to distribute from there into each category as you choose.

-Selecting output method: This allows you to select the way you wish to see the text depending on the client you are using. The choices are as follows:

Ansi - Will output in colorized "ansi" text
RIP - Will enable Rip graphics
No graphic/colour support -  Text will show without colour or colour codes.
